The Seattle Laptop Battle is back to showcase the abundant talent of local electronic laptop producers. This year’s battle will be held at Chop Suey on Friday, December 18th, 2009. The Laptop Battle has hosted a slew of electronic musicians from the Pacific NW, and continues this rich tradition in it’s 7th year with 16 producers hitting the stage to cause a ruckus of beats and bass, slung from flashing pads and faders. Each contestant has 3 minutes to impress the crowd and judges in this single elimination tournament, with every round crucial for the win. Whoever survives to be crowned the new champion goes home with a prize package provided by our generous sponsors. All performers will receive a limited edition Laptop Battle t-shirt designed by Jerry Abstract, of which there will be a small quantity available for the public at the event only.
