First gaining attention with his work as a producer in DiscoTech, Gigamesh is a name known worldwide by open-format club DJs. However, he considers that his ‘day job’. His real interests lie in forward-thinking music that can’t be easily categorized or digested by casual music listeners. His most well known song outside of the pop realm is a remix of Radiohead’s Everything in its Right Place, which has found its way to the top 10 on Hype Machine multiple times. He also made an official remix of Classixx huge nu-disco hit ‘I’ll Get You’ that saw rotation on popular BBC mixshows and in clubs around the world. Recently Gigamesh has stumbled into being a pop producer as his remix of Mike Posner’s Cooler Than Me was chosen over the original to get an official release on J Records (labeled ‘Single Mix’, it was at #19 and rising on Billboard as of this writing).
