Visualize the hip-hopping, spinning, flips, and flashy footwork of today’s best break dancers.  Where do those moves come from?  Roots of Hip Hop explores the origins of contemporary culture in traditional forms, with performers from Benin, Brazil, Ghana, Honduras, Kenya, and the USA.  Experience a live performance of Hip Hop Soul music & dance, African drum & dance, and Capoeira.  This project is funded by NEXT 50.
