Sol has announced a farewell show on June 16th at the Showbox at the Market, providing one last opportunity to perform for fans before leaving the United States. Sol will head off on a nine-month globetrotting experience as part of the Bonderman Travel Fellowship, which he was awarded as an honors student at the University of Washington.  Sol will be visiting Asia, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. Though reluctant to leave his Seattle musical roots (even for a short hiatus), Sol acknowledges the long-term benefit for himself and his fans, explaining “Its life experience that enables us to make the music that we make. After an opportunity to travel the four corners of the earth connecting with and learning from people all over, I look forward to coming back a completely changed person and artist.”
